So, who are we? What is rentacourt.net? and why did we start this project? These are all very fair questions. Let me tell you about who we are and wat we do. 

My name is Daniel and I am the founder of rentacourt.net (through my company, called PGF G.K.), and I started practicing tennis at the age of 35. With every practice, I fell in love more and more with the sport and always looked for new chances to play and new people to play with. Unfortunately, finding tennis courts in Japan was not an easy task (a lot of the clubs only took reservations by phone and was a process that took a lot of time), and I thought of having a clean and efficient way to book courts, where both schools and players could benefit. rentacourt.net is the result of that effort (at least the very first stage of my efforts).

The system has several benefits. On the one hand, it gives players a faster access to more courts in each area. On the other hand, gives tennis clubs and court owners more exposure to new potential players, especially to clubs that don’t have a website or that have limited resources to advertise their courts and services. 

Our hope is to build a strong community of tennis lovers (both amateur and professional players) so we can spread the word and we can have more places to practice the sport we love.
